A library, collection and archive of queer zines based in Sweden. An initiative that seeks to encourage independently printed publications that foster an intersectional queer subjectivity. QZB aims to work as a force to counteract the absence of documented queer collective histories and futures.
Queerd zine bibliotek aims to uplift BIPOC, trans and disabled creators and collective zine makers. Our intention is to gather a collection that sparks an intersectional queer dialogue with our audience. We welcome all zine donations made by queer expansive creatives with the exception of any content that fosters a racist, transphobic, ablest, or classist agenda.

What is a zine?
Zines are independently published magazines or fanzines. They give space and a voice to marginalised communities to tell their own stories. Zines have been used as a tool to share content that is often considered out of the norm in terms of commercial publication. It can be made with a low budget that can be distributed low to the ground and outside of potentially oppressive structures. Zines are often made by printing or photocopying A4 pages that are folded and stapled or sewn together.
